Cancellations can be made up to 8 hours before the trip. In case of not boarding the bus, the bus ticket will have a validity of 57 calendar days. Reschedules must be notified 8 hours before the trip, and it will be subject to a penalty of 10% of the bus ticket, notwithstanding the payment of the surplus, if that is the case. In case of a lower rate, there will be no return of the surplus-value. The passenger must send an email to: servicioalcliente@elrapidoduitama.com for reschedules. Reschedules on high seasons are not available. From December 15th to January 15th, Easter, and June 15th to July 15th.

For children, it is necessary to also present a notarial authorization, signed by the parents allowing the trip, with their IDs attached to the document. In case of the decease of any of the parents, or if the child is only recognized by one of them, the consent of the surviving parent will be enough.
