La Guajira department has a beautiful beach circuit, which posee un bello circuito de playas caribeñas a las que se puede llegar fácilmente desde Maicao o Riohacha. They also have hotels, restaurants and other services for tourists. The most well known are Mayapo and Cove La Vela.
